If you are not able to afford an Attorney there are resources available to you if you qualify.


You can request the appointment of an attorney.  Many excellent attorneys practicing in Lorain County take Criminal Appointments.  You must financially qualify and who you get is up to the Judge.  The Ohio Public Defender also puts out minimum requirements on experience necessary to take certain cases.

Family Law

You do not have a constitutional right to representations such as in criminal cases so the Court will not appoint an attorney for you.
